We Got Certified!
You read that right! We took a week long trip up to the Janome America headquarters in Mahwah, New Jersey and learned all the fine tuning techniques for various machine types. Not only did we learn those techniques, they put us to the test on various machines to make sure we knew the in's and out's of front load and drop in bobbin machines as well as sergers. Day 1 we toured the facility. They had a warehouse full of parts, a virtual service education room, you name it. In one of the service teammate's office, they had just about every model of Janome and Elna machines you can think of along the walls. After the tour, it was time to get to work. They had us work on a front load machine (Janome HD1000BE) to learn about every mechanical adjustment you could think of. Whether it was presser bar height, needle bar height and drop position, needle bar swing adjustment, and even removing the entire hook race unit, they had us LEARNIN'!
